Business Policies

1. Client Onboarding & Consultation

  • All new projects begin with a complimentary 30-minute consultation.

  • A signed agreement and 50% deposit are required to secure project start dates.

  • Final deliverables will not be released until full payment is received.

2. Pricing & Payment

  • Current service pricing is outlined in official proposals or service guides.

  • Accepted payment methods: ACH transfer, PayPal, Zelle, or credit/debit card.

  • Late payments may incur a 5% late fee after 5 business days.

  • Projects delayed due to client non-response beyond 14 days may be subject to rescheduling or additional fees.

3. Commitment

  • Social Media Packages require a minimum 3-month commitment in order to measure growth and assess your business needs effectively.

  • After the initial 3 months, services transition to a month-to-month basis.

  • No long-term commitment is required for other services (e.g., branding, logo design, or website development).

4. Revisions

  • Content and design packages include up to 2–4 rounds of revisions, depending on the scope.

  • Additional revisions beyond the agreed limit will be billed at $75/hour.

  • Revisions must be requested within 7 business days of receiving deliverables.

5. Turnaround Time

  • Timelines vary by project and will be clearly communicated during onboarding.

  • Rush projects (requiring turnaround under 3–5 business days) may be subject to a 20–40% rush fee.

6. Communication

  • Office hours are Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM CST.

  • Communication is preferred via email to maintain clarity and records.

  • Response time is typically within 1–2 business days.

7. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Deposits are non-refundable.

  • Cancellations made after work has begun are subject to a cancellation fee based on the percentage of work completed.

  • Refunds are not issued for completed work.

8. Content Ownership

  • Upon final payment, the client owns all original deliverables (logo files, website files, social media content, etc.).

  • Something New Marketing reserves the right to showcase completed work in portfolios, social media, and marketing materials.

9. Confidentiality

  • All client information, strategies, and materials are kept confidential unless written permission is provided.

10. Project Pauses

  • Projects may be paused if the client fails to provide necessary information or feedback within 7 business days.

  • After 30 days of inactivity, a $100 restart fee may apply.
